Ex-Graceland G-woman Vanessa Ferlito is back on the FBI’s payroll, courtesy of NCIS: New Orleans.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Felito is joining the CBS procedural’s upcoming third season in a series-regular role.

Ferlito will play a sexy, tough and acerbic FBI Special Agent who is sent down to New Orleans from DC to investigate the NCIS team. A by-the-book bureaucrat, she’ll bring a completely different way of doing things — as well as a mysterious past, natch — to New Orleans, which will put her at odds with both the team and the town.

“We’re beyond excited to have Vanessa join our show and are look forward to adding her distinctive personality and edge to our amazing NCIS: New Orleans cast,” said exec producer Brad Kern in a statement to TVLine.

Ferlito has a long-standing relationship with CBS. In addition to her two-season stint on CSI: NY, she had a co-starring role in the network’s ill-fated Nancy Drew pilot Drew. Additional TV credits include 24 and The Sopranos.

She will make her NCIS: New Orleans debut in in the Season 3 premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10/9c.

altra decisione per me incomprensibile perche' mettere un nuovo personaggio, in una squadra che funzionava perfettamente com'era? Per di piu' un'agente dell'FBI che indaga sulla squadra di Pride <_<

Devo dire che mentre le novita' in NCIS mi piacciono molto, questa non mi piace per nulla, sono d'accordo con te <_<

Inutile dire che sono d'accordo con voi, con questo nuovo personaggio(l'attrice tre l'altro non mi piace come non mi piaceva Sarah Clarke in NCIS) si rischia davvero di rompere qualcosa che funzionava benissimo.

There’s no big easy way to say this: Agent Pride’s team will be down a man when CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans opens Season 3.

TVLine has learned exclusively that original cast member Zoe McLellan, who played Great Lakes transplant Special Agent Meredith “Merri” Brody, will not be returning for the coming season.

The reason for McLellan’s exit was a creative decision, seeing as her character had been compromised in the Season 2 finale, due to her association with a Homeland Security agent who turned out to be a misguided zealot.

The black mark on Brody’s record will in fact speak to a larger concern with Pride’s NCIS team, paving the way for the FBI Special Agent being played by new series regular Vanessa Ferlito (Graceland) to come snooping around, to see what’s what.

L'uscita e' dovuta ad una decisione creativa(!) in quanto il suo personaggio era stato compromesso nella finale della seconda stagione per la sua relazione con un agente corrotto della sicurezza interna. Che cavolata, quale saranno le vere ragioni??!!

Around Episode 5, you'll start to see a vulnerable side to her. Pride knows what it's all about.

Her weakness is this burden she carries from her past. It's really bad. She feels responsible that many people suffered as a result of something she was involved with. She doesn't trust anybody because of what happened. She's a wonderful agent but when she comes to New Orleans it opens old wounds and she has to face it and get closure. She doesn't find it anytime soon -- it's going to drag out a little bit.

A differenza di NCIS, dove mi sono piaciuti entrambi i nuovi personaggi, questa tizia nuova dell'Fbi non mi e' piciuta per niente, gia' la faccia e' antipatica! Sono molto incavolta per l'uscita di Brody, oltretutto trattata malissimo :angry:

E' plausibile che il personaggio sia compromesso, ma questo non è mai stato un grosso problema. Anzi, a mio avviso, sarebbe più bello vedere un personaggio compromesso risollevarsi. :lol:

Le vere ragioni mi rimangono oscure <_<

vi quoto tutti, una scelta davvero incomprensibile che ha tolto parecchio alla serie, spero sia Zoe che e' voluta andare via e non che sia stata cacciata, perche' davvero sarebbe un autogol pazzesco, e la nuova arrivata al momento e' odiosa :angry:

Infelicissima scelta di far fuori l'agente Brody, ora non so se e' voluta uscire lei, in questo caso niente da dire, ma se l'hanno silurata e' stato un grave errore :wacko:

Oltretutto la nuova agente dell'FBI che si e' unita al team e' pessima, solo la faccia con quella specie di broncio/ghigno e' insopportabile <_<

Gli episodi non sono niente male, ma la serie e' stata penalizzata dall'uscita di Brody e dall'entrata delle tipa dell'FBI assolutamente antipaticissima, spero che sparisca. Ho letto che cercano un nuovo membro per la squadra, quindi mi auguro che esca di scena il piu' presto possibile.

io sono in ritardo, ho visto ieri il terzo episodio e mi e' piaciuto, solo che non digerisco la Gregorio, o meglio l'attrice, il suo personaggio specie in questo episodio non sarebbe male, ma l'attrice ha quell'espressione perennemente imbronciata che non sopporto. :smile_no0033.gif:

PS almeno qui continuano a parlare di Brody, a differenza che in NCIs che quando Ziva e' andatavia non la nominava piu' nessuno e per ora lo stesso sta succedendo con Tony!
