NCIS Brings Back Scottie Thompson as Tony's Ex, Jeanne Benoit

NCIS‘ Agent Tony DiNozzo is due for a major blast from the past, when ex-girlfriend Jeanne Benoit resurfaces during November sweeps.

TVLine can confirm that Scottie Thompson, who created the role of the doctor/arms dealer’s daughter back in Season 4, will return to the CBS drama in November, for the first of what could be multiple episodes.To say that Tony’s romance with Jeanne was complicated is putting it lightly. Their relationship was positioned as a quite serious one as it unfolded during Season 4, until Jeanne — the daughter of René Benoit aka La Grenouille (“The Frog”) — learned that her beau was an NCIS agent tasked with taking down her dad.

Jeanne broke up with Tony, leaving behind a letter asking him to choose between her and his job. Later, when La Grenouille was murdered, Jeanne (unsuccessfully) tried to pin the kill on Tony. Afterward, she asked if any of what they shared was real, to which he responded, “No.”

Or was it? Regardless, they’ll have things to talk about.

E la verità è che lo show è concepito in modo che ogni personaggio è sposato al proprio lavoro. DiNozzo ha faticato nel corso degli anni tentando di maturare e condividere la propria vita con qualcun’altro. E ora la sua vita sta cambiando perché Jeanne è tornata.
E come dire “La pianta è diventata troppo grande per il vaso? - E’ tempo di travasare DiNozzo?” Questa è una delle ragioni per cui ero così felice di andare a NCIS:LA.

Q: Un attimo..per caso questo cambiamento significa che possiamo sperare di vedere qualche piccolo Dinozzo in futuro?
[Ride] Guarda, noi diamo indizi e scherziamo su molte cose, ma posso dire con certezza e al 100% che molti rimarranno a bocca aperta dopo quello che accadrà, e avrà conseguenze su alcuni degli aspetti di base dello show. Sarà affascinante da guardare. Quel che sto dicendo non è il solito falso press release che pubblicizza “un anno di cambiamenti”. Sarà davvero una sfida per gli spettatori.

DiNozzo and McGee travel to the crime scene for the joint murder and kidnapping case and join the search for the missing doctors, on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Jon Cryer returns as Doctor Cyril Taft. Scottie Thompson returns as Jeanne Benoit.
